She' s African American, is there a difference with skin tones on how high the SPF should be? Can a sunblock be waterproof?

the skin tone doesnt matter on which type of spf to use, so either one will be fine

I purchased SPF 85 Sunblock/Sunscreen, will that stop a Black person from getting darker?

I will be outside for much of the day, will that stop a brown skinned black person from getting darker?

Should I put on a lot of sunscreen?

I think it will stop a fair skinned person from tanning easily so if you have brown skin I think it will have the same effect only more so. Slather it on.
And let it soak in! Enjoy yourself. Wish I was there. It is still in the minus temperatures where I live.
