Im a milky white pale and I have tried almost every tanning lotion, spray, mosse, foam, ect. in a drug store like CVS is their any other quality product that you can prefer to me one that wont streat thats my biggest problem and smells less and isn't orange. The only thing I have tried is the MysticTan and that was way to orange and after a few days of fadding it turned streaky, real streaky I have also tried professional airbrush but that turnned out great and only lasted 2 days plus that is not the type oof tan made to be maintained. Any help?
to add i dont tan at all in bed or naturally so just tanning wouldnt help
OK....I am an expert! I had the same problem. Here are three things to help....1) If you want to look a little less pale just rub moisturizer on yourself. Any brand will do and it doesn't have to have a tanning element within it. This won't make you look like you've spent the last week tanning, but it will take away that ghostly whiteness from your arms and legs. This is great for the winter, because if you look too tan, it will look unnatural. 2) Jergens natural glow for MEDIUM skin tones is another great alternative. Believe me, I am probably just as white as you, but the moisturizer for light skin tones does nothing, and the one for dark skin tones is just not right for people with our skin tone. Also Sun Fresh sunless foam from Neutrogena is also a non-streaky alternative that gives you a sun kissed look. These two are also available at most retailers. I've tried Nivea.....not crazy about it, it didn't really work and I was pretty disappointed. 3) I just got a spray tan.....i have done many many of them and the more I did them the better they came out. The trick is to MOISTURIZE!!!!! six hours after the spray tan begin to moisturize with a tanning cream or just a regular moisturizer. This will prolong your tan by days. The tanning solution only stick to the top layer of your skin and once your top layer dries you tan will disappear, however the more hydrated you can keep your skin, the longer it will live and the longer you can keep your tan.
ALSO, your not a bad person for "putting chemicals on your skin", as mentioned above. Actually, the tanning moisturizers have many vitamins and are beneficial for your skin. Lastly it is perfectly understandable that you want to look good, I know what it's like to have pale skin, we are living in a society that really only accepts tan skin, and you know what?, if I can boost my self esteem by applying a moisturizer, then i will surely do it!!!!
