sunless tanning spray for fair skin?

when using a tanning spray is it better to rub it in a circular motion or just apply it and let it sit? If I don't need to rub it in then what are good tan spray I can buy at walmart or wlagreens?
how many days will it take for it to tan then skin and fade away?

a spray tan is good because it does not need to be rubbed in. Apply it evenly and let it sit. Rubbing it in may cause it to be uneven and prolonged exposure to your hands will result in staining your hands (which looks really tacky)
