Can I use hydrogen peroxide to lighten my skin?

The skin on my stomach is oddly darker than the rest of my body, it looks like a suntan that has never faded and it's been almost 3 years since I last sunbathed. I don't have the money to afford expensive lightning products, I have already tried lemon and it hasn't worked, so I was wondering if hydrogen peroxide could work. If not what else. Please help!!!

do suntans fade away ?

recently due to excess exposure to the sun , i gained a suntan which looks terrible as some parts of my legs and hands are fair and the rest is dark....
ive tried sunblocks but they just wont work. Here in the middle east the sun rays are very powerful.

wearing skirts has become a nightmare with people staring at the awefully different shaded regions..
any idea if suntans fade away ? or ways to help get rid of it ?
