SunScrene
Hawaiian Tropic is a terrible brand name. It says nothing about its product. Hawaiian Tropic could be a pineapple, a hotel, a street in Honolulu, a volcano or an airline shuttle. You are familiar with it only because the trademark owner spent hundreds of millions of dollars burning that trademark for a suntan lotion into your brain.
"Just Do It" is an incredibly successful slogan, but only because someone spent hundreds of millions of dollars promoting it.
"SunScrene" has many advantages:
1. It describes your product.
2. It can be trademarked. You cannot trademark sunscreen. It's too generic. But a misspelling like SunScrene can be trademarked because no one else has done so. (I think ... I did NOT check this out at the US Trademark web site). Nobody would confuse your trademark with a pineapple.
3. You could also call it Hawaiian SunScrene if you want. Or Mexican SunScrene, or Bermuda SunScrene, etc.

Sunless Tanning $79.66 Sunless tanning (also known as self tanning, fake tanning, or UVfree tanning) refers to applying chemicals to the body to produce an effect similar in appearance to a more traditional suntan. Sunless tanning arose in response to links between sun exposure and skin cancer discovered in the 1960s, along with other alternatives to natural sun tanning such as the use of a sunbed or tanning bed.The most effective products available are sunless tanning or self tanning lotions and sprays that contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. The tan is not a dye, stain or paint, but a chemical reaction between the DHA and the amino acids in the dead layer on the skin surface. citation needed] This is similar to a reaction well known to food chemists called the Maillard reaction. Tanning Bed $70.1 A tanning bed or sunbed is a device emitting ultraviolet radiation (typically 95 UVA and 5 UVB, +/3) used to produce a cosmetic tan. Regular tanning beds use several fluorescent lamps that have phosphor blends designed to emit UV in a spectrum that is somewhat similar to the sun. Smaller, home tanning beds usually have 12 to 28 100 watt lamps while systems found in salons can run from 24 to 60 lamps, each consuming 100 to 200 watts. There are also high pressure tanning beds that generate primarily UVA with some UVB by using highly specialized quartz lamps, reflector systems and filters. These are much more expensive, thus less commonly used. A tanning booth is quite similar to a tanning bed, but the individual stands while tanning and the typical power output of booths is higher. Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals - Suntan $48 Time-Released Anti-Oxidants and Phytosomes The beads or spheres visible in the airless pump are actually liposomes entrapping liposomes. This state-of-the-art technology allows us to encapsulate large amounts of active ingredients, which are then time-released on to the skin. This controlled and sustained release into the epidermis increases delivery by up to 40%. At the center of the visible spheres lie minerals (mica, titanium dioxide, boron nitride and iron oxides), L-sodium hyaluronate acid (hyaluronic acid) and Olive Squalene all encapsulated by seaweed lipids. Floating around these larger spheres, like planets around the sun, are microscopic liposomes that individually encapsulate Coenzyme Q 10, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Vitamins C), Vitamin K, Willow Bark Extract, Chamomile, Calendula, and Seaweeds (Algin, Agar and Carrageenan.) The spheres are then suspended in a gel of aloe vera, lavender flower water and vegetable glycerin. As the makeup is applied and worked into the skin, the body temperature breaks down the liposomes so that they can release their actives in a prolonged time-release action for the ultimate in skin health and protection. This formula has a natural pH of 6 and is so perfectly balanced that it needs no pH adjusters. Our light-diffusing, soft-focus minerals are now encapsulated with ingredients that can replenish the cellular layers of the epidermis. A boon for all skin types, Liquid Minerals™ makes skin look more youthful, diminishes the appearance of lines and wrinkles, minimizes pores, evens out skin tone and adheres so well there is minimal transference. You can immediately see and feel the difference in the look and health of the skin. Net Weight: 30 ml. Ingredients: At the center of the visible spheres lie minerals (mica, titanium dioxide, boron nitride and iron oxides), L-sodium hyaluronate acid (hyaluronic acid) and Olive Squalene all encapsulated by seaweed lipids. Protect yourself Against Sun Damage With Some Necessary Tips
Sun damage is a form of extrinsic aging, which is early aging that is caused by the surrounding. Extrinsic aging is collective, means that effects exacerbate with repeating, unprotected contact to the sun. Skin is a complex entity consisting of cells and tissues that form the outer surface of the body. It can suffer from environmental insults, including temperature, humidity and solar energy. Changes in the skin are perceived as aging. This phenomenon is not simply a result of chronological aging but a reflection of the consequences of excessive ultraviolet exposure from the sun’s rays.
Sun damage occurs both indoor and out and at any time of the day, regardless if it is sunny or cloudy. During spring even casual exposure can cause UV damage. Melanin transforms UV-photons quickly into harmless amount of heat generating free radicals and is therefore an excellent photoprotectant against direct and indirect DNA damages.
Although the sun is necessary for life, sun damage to skin is caused by the invisible and intense ultraviolet radiation of sun exposure. Some of those harmful effects are visible right away like suntan and sunburn but others appear and worsen overtime such as liver spots and wrinkles. With repeated intense sun exposure the skin damage can even progress into cancer.
1) Protect yourself against sun damage: protect yourself against daily sun damage by applying sun protection prior to every time you are going to e in direct or indirect contact with the sun. Sun protection ought to be applied to the face, ears, lips and neck. Do not forget to protect your scalp if you have bald spots or your hair is thinning. For extended and intentional exposure when you are working, exercising or relaxing outdoors, sun protection should be reapplied every 2 to 3 hours.
2) Fully cover your body: In order to minimize sun exposure, you should search for shade on every possible occasion. Firmly woven, loose fitting, full-length clothing and wide brimmed hat can offer additional protection. To help avoid damage to your eyes, sunglasses that block 99% to 100% of UV rays should be worn.
3) Try to avoid sun between 11am to 4pm: UV rays are strongest between 11am to 4pm. Try to avoid the sun during these hours.
4) Oppose the temptation: Refuse to give in to the desire to tan outdoors in natural light or indoors under artificial UV light. UV rays enter the inner layer of the skin. In reply, the body produces additional melanin. That causes the skin obviously to be darker. A tan is proof that UV has damaged some of the skin’s cell. It has been verified that a tan is not healthy or safe.
5) Get expert advice: to help ensure the potential of a healthy, beautiful skin, you should schedule regular appointments with your dermatologist. Your dermatologist can offer education and information about skin care and explain the numerous sun damage prevention and all treatment options that are available to you.
Sun damage treatment
1) Retinol: Retinol is pure vitamin A. vitamin A is a part of forming and maintaining healthy skin. Retinol encourages the production and elimination of skin cells and stimulates the renewal of keratinocytes, which is the cell that Keratin. The effect of retinol includes softer skin and reduced appearance of fine lines.
2) Alpha Hydroxin Acids (AHAs): AHAs removes dead cell from the upper layer of the skin. This increases creation of new skin cells and control moisture levels. That results in a smoother, more healthy skin tone. AHAs are resulting from natural sources, such as fruit, milk and sugar cane.
3) Hydroquinone: Hydroquinone are tropical treatments, that are applied directly to the skin, which inhibit melanin production, the material that color the skin.
4) Chemical Peeling: A chemical solution which is applied to the face in order to remove the outer layer of your skin. As skin regenerates, it is noticeable smoother, softer and less wrinkled.
Skin care peeling is usually done to improve sum damage skin and reduce roughness, remove dead skin from the skin surface that allow fresh skin to grow faster, remove very fine lines, etc.
