need to be tan in 3 weeks?

i know prolonged uv exposure causes wrinkles and increases your odds of developing skin cancer. i don't want to develop a tanning habit, but i'd really like to be a little bronzed in 3 weeks for spring break.

my apartment complex has tanning beds that are free for residents. i went today for the first time- just 10 minutes. my question is: how many times / how often and for how long do i need to go in order to have a decent base tan 3 weeks from now? i have fair skin, but tan pretty easily in the sun. i'm using supre coco beach dry oil.

please don't recommend self tanners. i have used them for years and really like them, but don't want to deal with the hassle, the smell, the awkward wrist and ankle areas...

Go everyday/every other day for the first couple of weeks. If you see any pinkness or redness, skip a day and then next time go down a minute. If you're not pink, then you could probably go up a couple of minutes the next time. After you get a base tan, you only need to go once or twice a week to help maintain it.

Don't use any tanning lotions that aren't meant for indoor use. They damage the acrylic
