Tanner Medium how to deter effects of chlorine and cold weather on self tanner?
I have been using vaseline self tanner for fair skin tones throughout the year on my face and body, and it has worked fine. But now, it wont work on my face. I suspect that it is due to exposure to chlorine (i swim in the winter) and the cold, dry weather. I have tried washing and moisturizing my face directly after swimming, and i have even tried using the tanner for medium skin tones. However, nothing seems to make a difference. has anybody else ever had this problem? what should i do?
It sounds like your skin is too dry and scaly to absorb the dye in self-tanner evenly and completely. You need to give the tanning lotion a break and concentrate on keeping your skin healthy and moisturized. While your skin heals, try one of the Jergens moisturizers that has just a touch of self-tanner in it. I am using Burt's Bees Radiance Day Cream (with royal jelly, an amazing ingredient used for centuries) on my face and neck area, and it does brighten my skin and make it look creamy and healthy. At nighttime, I use Nivea Creme with several drops of extra virgin olive oil (again, amazing ingredient used for centuries). It's January, so people will forgive you for not having a perfect tan. Good skin is better than a good tan.

The 2010 Honda Civic is one of the most fuel-efficient cars on the market. With its latest model, Honda continues to maintain its position as a leader of fuel economy. Both the hybrid and standard models of the latest Civic have been tested and evaluated, and while the hybrid offers outstanding gas mileage, the standard model is still a competitive sedan in terms of fuel consumption.
