How can I get my skin back to being healthy and natural looking?

so I was at the beach, and I lightly dabbed some tan accelerator onto my face. Now, it is all red and puffy, and feels swollen and inflammed. I used to have a few cute little freckles that my boyfriend thought were adorable, and now I look like leatherface. I am drinking green tea, and I am going to go buy aloe vera stuff. i have been using moisterizing lotions, but it isn't helping at all. I feel like I look like i have just gotten botox or something. I have very pale skin and I am hoping that this will soon fade, and I will get my freckles back and that this isn't permanent damage to my skin and that I won't have to get like plastic surgery or something. I know i should increase my antioxidant intake, and use Vitamin A creams, but I am very upset and I feel like this is permanent. I can't get a good answer out of anyone cause they are just telling me that i will be fine, and I am not so sure. Please, anyone, some tips or advice? im 18, and i've never had a lot of sun exposure.

Every sunburn is permanent damage to your skin especially if your white and freckle easily.
The good news is the freckles will fade, hopefully you dont do any damage and sun spots dont sppear (big brown spots).

Aloe vera is your only cure, or go to a tanning salon and buy an after tan burn product. Apply aloe vera as often as you can, the skin is damaged because you sucked all the moisture out of it which is causing the tight leathery effect, YOU NEED TO PUT THAT MOISTURE BACK IN!!
