Eczema spots after tanning in sun?

Recently i went to Brazil and over there i bought a creme to heal my eczema which is on both of my arms, and it did. NOw the thing is that over there i got a really dark tan but the area where i put the creme did not tan so it looks discolored.

How can i make this go away?
will it go away when my tan goes away??

You can't make it go away but you can buy a small concealer and dab a little on the light places. Be careful to get a color close to the color of your tan. Blend it in.

Eczema is a disease in a form of dermatitis, or inflammation of the epidermis. The term eczema is broadly applied to a range of persistent skin conditions. These include dryness and recurring skin rashes that are characterized by one or more of these symptoms: redness, skin edema (swelling), itching and dryness, crusting, flaking, blistering, cracking, oozing, or bleeding. Areas of temporary skin discoloration may appear and are sometimes due to healed lesions, although scarring up is rare. In contrast to psoriasis, eczema is often likely to be found on the flexor aspect of joints. Sunless Tanning

Sunless Tanning

$79.66

Sunless tanning (also known as self tanning, fake tanning, or UVfree tanning) refers to applying chemicals to the body to produce an effect similar in appearance to a more traditional suntan. Sunless tanning arose in response to links between sun exposure and skin cancer discovered in the 1960s, along with other alternatives to natural sun tanning such as the use of a sunbed or tanning bed.The most effective products available are sunless tanning or self tanning lotions and sprays that contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. The tan is not a dye, stain or paint, but a chemical reaction between the DHA and the amino acids in the dead layer on the skin surface. citation needed] This is similar to a reaction well known to food chemists called the Maillard reaction. Preventative Measures:

There are certain things you can do to prevent your condition from flaring up. For one, you should pay close attention to the types of foods you eat. Some foods will cause you to have a reaction and make your eczema even worse. Some foods to be on the look out for are shell fish, lobster and mostly sea foods.

Stay out of the direct rays of the sun, If you must go into the sun, make use of sun tanning lotions. When in the direct rays of the sun, your skin will dry out very quickly and can become scaly. At that time when you itch it, it will burn you and can sometimes become red.

Moisturize regularly- A good way to moisturize is right after you had a shower. You should pat dry so that a little moisture from the water is left behind on your skin. You then add some moisturizing lotion to your skin and that will prevent your skin from looking dry and flaky.

Home Remedies For Eczema

Aside from the preventative measures, there are some home remedies for eczema that you can use to speed up your healing process. Here are two of them:

Raw hone for eczema - raw honey have been used for ages to treat eczema. You must first ensure that the surface of your skin is clean and then apply a small amount of the raw honey to the affected areas. Allow it to stay for a few minutes and then rinse with cold water.

Another remedy is the oatmeal bath. All you need to do is to get a bath of warm water and add about two cups of oatmeal to it. Sit in there for about 10 minutes and then when you get out be sure to moisturize.<!-- From http://www.buzzle.com/articles/natural-treatments-for-eczema-finally-you-can-get-your-clear-skin-back.html --> <!-- google_ad_section_end -->
