Sunless tanners?

I'm on meds that make my skin extremely sensitive to the sun and tanning beds. My skin is looking ghostly right now (veins are starting to show through), and I'm looking for some modestly priced tanning options, but I'm completely new to this. I'd like to try a lotion maybe, but I don't know which ones are good and which ones are crap. Any suggestions?
