What shirt is better for tanning(natural)?

I'm plannin on tannin outside in a few days and I was wondering if it's better to wear a light colored shirt, or a dark coloered shirt? If I wore the dark colored shirt would that attract the sun to me?

Dark coloured shirts absorb light and light coloured shirts let light pass through.

So I would wear a light shirt so more sun and light passes through.

Make sure to use sunscreen before you tan too.
