Oh please don't do this... It will ruin the acrylics in the bed and you think you don't have money now.. If the salon catches you doing this they will sue you for new acrylics and that will be at least 600.00. Outdoor lotions are not formulated for acrylics.. they put an oil on the bed that will not come off or eat the acrylics... it actually blocks you from getting a tan.
There cheaper indoor lotions at walmart... try those or you can get some really cheap deals on indoor lotion on ebay just make sure you buy from a reputable seller.

Sunless tanning (also known as self tanning, fake tanning, or UVfree tanning) refers to applying chemicals to the body to produce an effect similar in appearance to a more traditional suntan. Sunless tanning arose in response to links between sun exposure and skin cancer discovered in the 1960s, along with other alternatives to natural sun tanning such as the use of a sunbed or tanning bed.The most effective products available are sunless tanning or self tanning lotions and sprays that contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. The tan is not a dye, stain or paint, but a chemical reaction between the DHA and the amino acids in the dead layer on the skin surface. citation needed] This is similar to a reaction well known to food chemists called the Maillard reaction. Tanning addiction is a rare syndrome where an individual appears to have a physical and/or psychological addiction to sunbathing or the use of tanning beds. The mechanism of the addiction is unknown at this time.In 2005, a group of dermatologists published a study showing that frequent tanners experience a loss of control over their tanning schedule, displaying a pattern of addiction similar to smokers and alcoholics.Biochemical evidence indicates that tanning addicts are addicted to an opioid release experienced during tanning. When frequent tanners took an endorphin blocker in a 2006 study, they experienced severe withdrawal symptoms, while infrequent tanners experienced no withdrawal symptoms under the same conditions. A tanning bed or sunbed is a device emitting ultraviolet radiation (typically 95 UVA and 5 UVB, +/3) used to produce a cosmetic tan. Regular tanning beds use several fluorescent lamps that have phosphor blends designed to emit UV in a spectrum that is somewhat similar to the sun. Smaller, home tanning beds usually have 12 to 28 100 watt lamps while systems found in salons can run from 24 to 60 lamps, each consuming 100 to 200 watts. There are also high pressure tanning beds that generate primarily UVA with some UVB by using highly specialized quartz lamps, reflector systems and filters. These are much more expensive, thus less commonly used. A tanning booth is quite similar to a tanning bed, but the individual stands while tanning and the typical power output of booths is higher. TECHNIblock doesn't contain oils or emulsifiers, which makes it very water resistant so there's no need to keep re-applying it. We were in and out of the sea all day, we didn't top up and we didn't burn but developed a gorgeous suntan. It's fragrance-free, breathable (which is great if you have sensitive skin or suffer from prickly heat), non-greasy, fast-drying and works upside down. Unlike P20, there's no need to wait after applying it before you can head down to the beach, you just spray it on and go - completely effortless. We love travelling all over the world but hate the fuss and mess of applying suntan lotion; other once-a-day protection is often very difficult to rub in and leaves a horrible white greasy residue but npw that we've discovered TECHNIblock it means staying protected is so easy. We are much more aware these days of the dangers of over exposure to harmful UVA and UVB, and the threat of skin cancer, so TECHNIblock is a real find, especially as it's endorsed by the Cancer Association of South Africa. It's available exclusively in the UK via an online website www.easysunspray.co.uk and it's very reasonably priced. A 340ml family can of TECHNIblock SPF40 kept my husband and I protected for just under a week and it only costs £19.95. TECHNIblock also comes in SPF15 so once you've developed a good base tan, and if you are not too fair skinned, you can go down to SPF15, although personally we always stick with SPF40 and still get a great colour. We highly recommend TECHNIblock - once you've used it, you will never buy another suntan lotion again!
