Question Tattoos and Tanning?

I got a tattoo about a year ago. I have not been in a tanning bed since then until last week. Now I've been tanning everyday for a week. After last time I went the area where my tat is was hurting and my tattoo was raised up. It went back down after about 45 mins. Has anyone heard of this? Is this normal or should I seek medical attention?

When in doubt you should always go to the clinic or hospital.
I think if you put on sunscreen you will be fine. Since it was your first time tanning since you got it, it might have been because of that. If it happens again you should go get it checked out.

Protecting Your Tattoos With Sun Protective Clothing
