Tanning Tingler Lotions
is it okay to use tanning lotion with tingler and bronzer out in the sun?
don't talk to me about how bad it is to tan i dont want to hear it please.
but anyways if it is okay to use tingler with bronzer in the sun.. how long should i be out in the sun for with it on?
I love to use it. I find that it works better than non tingle. Tingle brings the blood to the surface of the skin, so it may look like your burnt but your not. You will know. I do it all the time! Actually I am going on a cruise in about two weeks and I need to buy a new bottle before I leave!

Sunless Tanning $79.66 Sunless tanning (also known as self tanning, fake tanning, or UVfree tanning) refers to applying chemicals to the body to produce an effect similar in appearance to a more traditional suntan. Sunless tanning arose in response to links between sun exposure and skin cancer discovered in the 1960s, along with other alternatives to natural sun tanning such as the use of a sunbed or tanning bed.The most effective products available are sunless tanning or self tanning lotions and sprays that contain dihydroxyacetone (DHA) as the active ingredient. The tan is not a dye, stain or paint, but a chemical reaction between the DHA and the amino acids in the dead layer on the skin surface. citation needed] This is similar to a reaction well known to food chemists called the Maillard reaction. Tingler - DVD $6.26 Rated: NRSynopsis: Scene SelectionsTalent FilesTheatrical TrailersOriginal "Scream" SceneWilliam Castle's Drive-In "Scream" SceneScream For Your Lives! FeaturetteInteractive MenusProduction NotesDigitally Mastered Audio & Anamorphic VideoSynopsis:Vincent Price stars as an obsessed doctor who discovers that fear manifests itself as a parasitic creature which grows on the spinal cords of terrified people. If they scream, the Tingler can be destroyed. If they don t, it will sever the spinal column and kill them. He successfully isolates and removes the Tingler from a deaf mute (Judith Evelyn) who has been scared to death by her devious husband. Once captured, the Tingler escapes and runs amok in a crowded movie theater. Terror is loose, but can it be stopped? THE TINGLER is legendary horror director William Castle's magnum opus. After the success of The House on Haunted Hill, Castle devised a new gimmick called "Percepto" for the Tingler. Participating theaters would wire seats so that random moviegoers would get a tangible electric shock during climactic moments in the film. Another novelty used to maximum effect is the short color sequence depicting blood pouring from a faucet and filling a bathtub. Castle went on to direct more cult classics like Homicidal and 13 Ghosts and gained some mainstream credibility by producing Rosemary's Baby.© 1988 TriStar Pictures, Inc. All Rights Reserved. |

The Tingler (DVD) $16.44 This delightful gimmick film from producer-director William Castle stars Vincent Price as Dr. Chapin, a scientist who discovers a caterpillarlike parasite that grows in the human spine when someone is afraid and that, unless they scream, can grow large enough to kill them. He solemnly dubs this creature the tingler. Philip Coolidge plays the owner of a nearby cinema who befriends the doctor and whose deaf-mute wife suddenly receives all sorts of shocks, like the sight of a bathtub full of blood with a hand reaching out from it. Since she can't scream, she dies, and Chapin gets his hands on her oversize tingler. When it eventually escapes inside the movie theater, the film within the film, and then the film itself, stops for an announcement from Price, out of character, urging the audience to scream their heads off. Castle originally had random seats in theaters equipped to deliver small electric shocks at this key moment, and he hired women to faint and ushers to carry them out, all in his determination to get the audience to scream. Even without all the ballyhoo it's a fun film, a delightful relic from the days of the gimmick.DVD Features:Region 1 EncodingKeep CaseScream For Your Life FeaturetteAn Original William Castle Drive-In Sequence |

The Tingler - Widescreen Anniversary $8.99 As famous for the gimmick with which the film was shown as for its genuinely spine-tingling story, The Tingler follows a pathologist (Vincent Price) as he searches for the cause of a series of deaths and discovers that the victims have a large insect-like creature growing on their spinal chords. The creature attacks when the people are frightened and is only killed when the host emits a blood-curdling primal scream. This is coupled with a subplot to scare the deaf-mute owner of a silent movie house to death. Along the way, a couple of characters are injected with LSD and begin hallucinating like mad. When one of the nasty monsters "escaped" into a movie theater, the film's gimmick would begin. In order to further frighten audiences, director William Castle had certain theater seats rigged with small Army surplus devices that would deliver a mild electric shock to the spine in hopes of inducing terrified screams. Castle also planted audience members who would scream and faint. The house lights would go up, the film would stop and ushers would carry the unconscious person out of the theater. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi |
