I was just outside tanning for 15 minutes wearing sunscreen, and my skin turned a tinted pink?
So I went inside to cool off. Should I go back out and keep taking 15 minute breaks so I don't get burned? Advice? Thanks.
P.s. please answer the question and don't go on a rant about how unhealthy tanning is.

Sara .. There are several tips for tanning whether it is in the sun or indoor depending on your skin type. So it depends on what is your skin type regarding to its ability to tan. This web site is very informative and give great tips of how to minimize the sun damage (or the UV skin damage in general).
Actually reasonable UV exposure is beneficial. People who use sunscreens all the time usually suffer from vitamin D deficiency. People who don't get exposed to the sun enough also suffer from seasonal affective disorder. Remember that humans are mean to be exposed to the sun. So tanning is not all bad if done right.
