What is the best fake tan I can buy for a reasonable price?

I've tried almost every fake tan apart from fake bake and st tropez, are these worth the money? I always seem to end up orange and never an actually brown colour, I would mind even being a very light brown just for some colour on a night out or for the summer as I am quite pale. My hands are the worst, i use cloves and wipes but the back of my hands end up all orange and cracked, I just want something that will last a few days and fade naturally without looking orangy or cracked... Are these moisturisers with tan any good, my mum uses the dove and johnstons one and says it not that bad but she has quite dark skin, will this make me look to orange again??

fake tanners and pale people don't really go together. If I were you I would get a base tan then use a little fake tanner, because it deffinetly blends in better with darker skin
