Uva Protection Is there a difference between avobenzone and oxybenzone as far as protection from UVA rays?
Are they equally effective?
Actually oxybenzone can be really harmful. It is a photocarcinogen and can cause cancer. what percentage of titanium dioxide does one need for UVA protection in sunscreen?
I read an article that says "Experts say the best protection against UVA is a sunscreen that includes zinc oxide, titanium dioxide or avobenzone." so I'm asking what percentage of these ingrediants does the sunscreen need? I'm also assuming that more of it is better...but how much is good enough?
