Major spray tan disaster!?

I had a spray tan and now my under arms are green! also my leg started to bleed because i shaved it before hand and now they have gone spotty and have white patches.
I wiped off most of the green with a baby wipe, but now there just white with green tinges. My friend said its cos of deoderant. i didnt wash my underarms this morning, i was in a rush and plus i didnt even know it was going to happen.
What do i do, i hardly ever go out and when i do everything goes wrong and makes me feel down :(
its a fake bake spray tan.

EXFOLIATE!
Exfoliation removes the top layer of skin (which is already dead) it should take the fake tan with it.
You can shave your legs again because that will help too.
Do not mosturise as that will make your tan last longer.
Good Luck

Growing up Brian was a happy child. Born into a middle-class family, he enjoyed a good education and all the other things that go along with growing up. Brian was an introverted child and he really has not fully grown up to be other than that.

During his childhood years he loved to play video games with his older brother. His brother departed the nest, but Brian was still able to play the games over the "net".

His education came fairly easy to Brian. His tested IQ was in the genius range. His parents wanted him to pursue a career in a professional field.

Brian loved the sciences, his mind always seeking clues to complicated puzzles. Brian bored easily, if something did not challenge him, he soon tired of it!

Growing up in New York city presented challenges of its own . Everybody there was in a hurry. To where it really did not matter. Endless perpetual motion.

Drawing and painting was a hobby that Brian really enjoyed. So much so he drew and painted his way through high school and into college. Brian's field of study was the sciences. His love for painting continued, so much he quit college and started painting full time.

His family was furious, for what kind of life would painting provide their precious son. His dad always went around spouting trash talk about the "ARTS', and how they were worthless when it came to supporting a family.

Brian yearned for the day he could support himself, and get away from his foolish father. Brian's mother was more understanding and she stood by her son's wishes. She thought Brian could become a very famous Artist and would be very wealthy.

Brian appreciated the way mom supported him, but wealth was the furthers thing in his mind. He painted and drew for the relaxation and the sense of fulfillment it provided to his soul.

Damn it's raining again, wiping sweat from his brow. The winter months in the tropics produced almost constant rain. The nights were humid and hot, very hot, and very humid. I'd like to go to town tomorrow morning. Several things were needed to replenish the pantry. Being single had its advantages. Less of everything to buy and only buy things you thought were needed. He was a poor impulsive shopper. Get in the store, grab a few items and rapidly depart. On the bright side he would see that lovely cashier again, what was her name?

He pondered then thought I think her name is Kathy. She does not wear a wedding ring, so she must be single. She always acted friendly towards him. Could she be flirting? He thought not, probably part of her store persona. Regardless she was cute and he enjoyed the her attention. After all, there was little to do in this small coastal town. Actually the town was a small island connected to the mainland by an old wooden rickety bridge. From end to end the bridge was probably 100 yards long. The road that led to and from the bridge was just plain marl. With the constant rain during the winter months he traveled the road sparingly. The road would turn to marl and mud.

Thinking back to the first time he had come to the "island" it seemed like years ago. But in reality it was only two years ago. He had first come to the island to get settings for his paintings. As a starving artist in New York city, he yearned to find a "utopia" outside the city in which to pursue his craft. Deft in landscapes, he now yearned to add to his repertoire. He painted ships at sea, children playing in the surf mothers yelling at them to stay close to shore.

Occasionally he would see a "perfect" model for his work, Young bikini clad girls frequently sunned themselves, many times without their tops. Now that was worth painting. He wondered if "Kathy" ever sunned herself here. He never saw her outside the grocery store, but he rarely ventured around the village. Maybe he would ask her if she wanted to go on a "date" sometime!

During the winter months with all the rain his days of free models at the beach sunning themselves were nonexistent. Damn most of his work had to be taken from the depths of his mind. He preferred live models, because his imagination seemed limited. But in reality he had a very vivid imagination.

His "Bay Window" faced the shoreline, which was a real blessing in the winter. The rain, rain and rain sent him into darker and darker moods. He toyed around by painting self-portraits using a large "mirror" that was in the cabaña when he leased it.

Occasionally he would awaken during the rain soaked nights to a rustling noise. Once it was loud enough to frighten him, and he arose to investigate. Saw nothing, but a shadow of himself in the "mirror". He went back to bed, forced himself to slumber and slept soundly the rest of the night.

Sun shone through the large bay window. Ah! Brian thought I'll be getting a break from this damn rain. While wondering how he would spend his day, he started to cook himself a meager breakfast. Usually he ate a piece of fruit, but today as the sun lifted his spirits he decided to cook eggs and grits. Grits were a new item to Brian. Being a "Yankee" he had never tasted or even heard of grits before he came to the island. He had to admit grits were pretty tasty, but in true Yankee style he preferred his sprinkled with sugar. Brian wondered if that girl Kathy could make grits "southern style".

Bet she could do a lot of things. Maybe he should find out. He had to go to the grocery store today, maybe I will ask her out for a date.

After breakfast, Brian washed the few dishes he had used and left them in the rack to air-dry. He walked out of the cabana and glanced towards the beach. Too early now for his "Subjects" to be sunbathing. Maybe in the afternoon they will be here. He mused "guess I shall go shopping for food this morning".

Brian rode a bicycle around the Island, saved gas and besides it was good exercise. Physically Brian was in excellent shape! He limited his alcohol intake to a glass or two of wine every two or three weeks. His lungs thanked him daily by providing fresh clean air to breath. Brian quit smoking when he first came to the Island. It had not been too difficult he thought. Always hated the damn things anyway, filthy habit.

Brian mounted his bike and pointed it towards the grocery store. On the way he noticed a small movie theater. Funny I hadn't noticed it before maybe it is trying to tell me to ask that girl Kathy for a date to a movie this Friday. Brian stopped and looked at the marquee, looks like a good love story would be showing Friday night. How appropriate he thought. Maybe it is time to ask her for a date. Brian tried to pump himself up. His love life almost non-existent, his shyness always in the past had reared it's ugly head. Brian would back away.

Brian always liked girls although he knew virtually nothing about them. The boys at school had made fun of girls then they had what the boys called a monthly "curse". Brian was intelligent enough to figure out what that meant.

Brian had few close personal friends so when he left New York City, only his close family knew he was leaving the city . Destination was some godforsaken mosquito ridden island off the coast of a state called North Carolina.

The store had very few shoppers in it at this time of day. The early hour plus the rare sunny weather would be bad for business today. Maybe this was another sign that he should ask the girl out. At least he could confirm her name and tell her his. After picking out the essential items that he had come to get Brian got to the checkout. Good the girl's line had no customers. "Hello my name is Brian!, what may I call you", she softly responded "please call me Kathy". Kathy sweetly smiled "I've seen you around the island many times. Always seem to be in a hurry. Most "Islanders" know each other. I was born and raised right here on "Kilby Island". "Where do you hail from"?, Brian smiled "New York City", Kathy responded "it must be quite a culture shock for you", "yes but in an enjoyable way". Brian thought she is friendly enough. He sheepishly asked "Kathy although we just formally met would you care to join me for a movie Friday evening" She responded "thought you would never ask". They both laughed. As he was leaving the store he looked back at Kathy, "7:00 pm be OK?" Kathy responded " 7:00 pm will be fine and I will meet you at the corner".

Brian was smiling as he peddled back to his cabana, he had finally done it. Not only did he introduce himself to her, but had made a date for this Friday evening. Brian put his groceries away and the grabbed his paintbrush. He walked outside and scanned the beach. Quite a few people were on the beach now. Mostly children with their mothers. Several bikini-clad girls were sunning themselves. He unfolded his rusty old chair, sat and started to sketch some of the children playing. He didn't feel like straining his mind to paint the girls today. He just felt good and lazy today. Sun felt so good and warm, and relaxing. Actually too good to be working so he sketched for entrainment. After a couple of hours Brian retired to his cabana to rest for his upcoming date tomorrow.

The sun was receding quietly now being replaced with orange-bluish horizen. Night would soon fall. Brian frequently burned candles at night. Not only did it save on the electric, it provided him with an inner warmth.

Brian sat in his lounge chair reading the latest video magazine. Amazing how good he felt since he was not mesmerized by videos day and night. He frequently was consumed by the video games. So much so he frequently would play them from dusk to dawn. Fortunately those days were now in the "rear-view mirror of his life". He still enjoyed keeping up with the latest news in the world of video games.

The sandman was near as his "lids" grew heavy. Tonight was Thursday and tomorrow was the big day. His very first "real" date with a girl. She was attractive, and Brian wondered if she dated steadily. Probably had a lot of suitors. But she did not hesitate when he asked to take her to a movie show. True the native boys were few and far between. Most of the local boys left the island as young men and failed to return. There just was not enough to attract people to the island. Raising families there would not be an easy task. There did not appear too be enough work for any one craft to survive too long.

Brian awoke to the pattering of rain. Damn he thought, it would probably rain all day and night. What a miserable day for his new "love-life" too start! Fortunately he was wrong. Around noon the rain stopped and the sun peeked at him through the fast moving clouds. He busied himself by cleaning up his living spaces. Washed his clothes, dusted his sparse furniture and just generally straightened the place up. Not that he expected company. Nobody but the "landlord" had visited him there, and that was just for the monthly rent.

Brian had left the island only twice since he had lived there. Each time was to visit his family during the holidays in New York City.

After a few days home he would get antsy to return to his solitary existence.

His father still did not approve of his lifestyle, always asking him if he was ready to give up the "gypsy" lifestyle and return to civilization. Brian got sick and tired of that "bullshit" quickly. Brian's mother was always proud of Brian. She approved of his lifestyle because she knew he was free of "drugs and alcohol". She wanted him to be genuinely happy, and he seemed to be that when he returned from his adopted home.

Brian determined the sun would not last all day, but should be sufficient enough for him to sketch a few scenes. Brian often sketched scenes on sunny days to be used to models to paint on the rainy days.

The evening was fast approaching and Brian got ready for his date with Kathy. Brian decided he would ride his bike most of the way then hide it in some bushes until his return that night. That way Kathy would no that his bike was his only mode of transportation. Not that he was ashamed to be car less. It was just that she might be expecting him to be a man of means.

He never gave that impression to anybody on the island.

Walking now towards town Brian sniffed the night air. The air was filled the odor of night blooming flowers. He felt great. As he neared the movie theater he could see her walking out of the shadows. Did she look wonderful or what? She wore knee length white shorts and a short sleeve white shirt. That was almost the uniform of the day for the island women.

Brian felt good about his selection of his wear. A pair of beachcomber shorts with a Hawaiian shirt. Most of the men of the island thought this was "formal" wear.

He smiled at her as he approached. "Hello, how are you this evening"? She replied "fine, and we picked a good evening to be inside and watch a movie". Brian purchased two tickets and determined the movie they were too see in reality was a semi-romantic and comedy. He was glad there was a feel-good movie showing. It would make it much easier on both of them to become acquainted. He felt himself relaxing. Kathy inquired about his background and wanted to know what brought him to the island.

He was truthful and very upfront with her. Tiring of city life and longing for peace and quite to pursue his love of painting. She appeared interested and politely asked several questions about his family.

Did he have any siblings? No he replied, only child. Brian learned that Kathy had come from quite a large family. Four brother and three sisters. All had left the island and were all alive and well. Spending their lives far and wide across the country. Most were married and raising children. Most had gone off to college, and never had any real desire to return to the mundane life they had formally lived on the "Island".

Kathy herself went off to college, but became short of funds and quit.

She hoped she would return someday, but thought that doubtful. She found it difficult to save much money with such small wages earned at the store.

Kathy majored in liberal arts hoping one day to pursue a career in the arts.

Brian found that fascinating. This was too good to be true. Kathy had the same interests as he had. He spoke to her about his aspirations and dreams.

She really seemed interested, and listened intently. The movie ended. Neither Brian nor Kathy could tell what the plot of the film was, but each knew a little about the other.

Leaving the theater Brian asked "would you like to have a drink before you go home", she smiled demurely, "I'd love to have a cup of coffee or coke".

"There was a "greasy-spoon" café down the street" "They stay open until 11:30pm, we could get a cup of coffee there". Brian smiled "good" and they strolled to the café. Once seated Brian said" tell me more about yourself", Kathy smiled as she was not used to dating on the small island much less with a handsome tanned man like Brian. "Well there is not much to tell",

"I was born here 30 years ago, went to elementary school on the island".

"The island is too small to have it's own high school, so had to attend on the mainland" she seemed to enjoy telling Brian about herself. Drinking her coffee slowly she continued. "I left the island to attend college at Wilmington, NC". "They have a fine university there, but I ran out of money and had to leave". "Here I am, end of a very boring story". Brian smiled at her and thought he saw a glint in her eye. He thought she had beautiful sky blue eyes. What a lovely model she would make for some of his paintings.

Kathy spoke softly "now it's your turn", "spare me no details"! Brian flushed "really not a whole lot to tell". "I am just a "free-spirit", whose father thinks will never make a living in art". "I am starting to think that the old man is right, but I still love my lifestyle". "I have sold a few paintings locally just enough to pay the rent and buy a little food" "I just love the peace and quite the island offers, so tranquil".

They talked and talked smiling and laughing when appropriate. The evening seemed to be successful Brian thought. Kathy seemed to really be interested. "Can I see you again" Brian asked! "I'd love to, I really had an enjoyable evening". Brian could not determine if it was because she had momentarily escaped the dull hum-drum of the island or whether or not he had made a slight impression on her.

"I don't have a land-line, and I don't have a use for a cell phone" Brian said steadfastly! "We could set up a "date" when I come to the store again, would that be OK"? Kathy smiled slightly, " that would be wonderful".

Brian saw in the movies when a man and a woman finish a date, the man walks the women to her door. Now he felt foolish, he did not know how to say good-bye to Kathy. Kathy saw Brian's discomfort. "well goodnight" she said softly. "I can find my way to my house now", Brian felt relieved, "Goodnight".

Brian started walking towards the place where he left his bicycle. He found it, and started his trip to his home. He pondered as he rode. Kathy was a really nice person. Would they develop some sort of relationship? Inexperienced in such matters, he hoped their date would develop into some sort of friendship. Brian arrived at the cabana about 1:30am. Too late to do anything but go to sleep he thought. He undressed rapidly and fell almost immediately into a hard slumber.

Hours later Brian heard what he thought was the wind blowing. It was so loud that he thought he had left windows open. He rose and started checking the few windows he had in this place. Nothing. Then he noticed the "mirror" as it appeared to be vibrating somewhat. Looking at it closely he saw what appeared to be sky blue images of eyes. How strange he thought, as they resembled the eye color of Kathy. He was not scared, but he was a little confused. Was the "mirror" trying to tell him something? Or was he just dreaming. Well he had been awoken by what he thought was the wind now he thought it was the "mirror". He must be losing it! How strange it would sound to people if he told them he had a "mirror" that seemed to be alive. Everybody knew things like mirrors were inanimate objects. Brian could swear it was real. Am I dreaming he thought. Or am I just losing it. His father would say "hard to lose if you never had". Still he wondered. Things settled were settled down now. Brian returned to bed. Surprisingly sleep came easily.

Brian made a special trip to town the next day. He needed a break from his work, besides he wanted if he could set up another date with Kathy.

Kathy and Brian became quite close during the next year or so. He often asked her to pose for some of his paintings. Brian made sure that he never sold any of the paintings she was in. Brian considered them to be his own personal collection, something to be enjoyed by the both of them. Kathy seemed to enjoy posing for Brian. It also created comfort zones for the young lovers! Brian now thought of Kathy as "his" girlfriend. Kathy was "crazy in love with Brian".

Out of the blue Brian proposed to her, at first Brian thought she would say NO, but she looked at him and said a absolutely YES.

They wed in the small white chapel on the island. Kathy's family were all there: Mom and Dad, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces. Brian's Mother and Father were there. For once Brian's father smiled at him when he discussed his and his bride's future together. Brian thought that it was because he would finally see "Grandchildren", Brian's mother acted like she was in heaven.

They were joined in marriage by the local minister (who for a living ran the movie house in which Brian and Kathy had their first date). The reception has held at the grocery store where Kathy had worked for the last eight years. Kathy would continue to work there until she and Brian saved enough to join the real world. Brian of course would continue to paint. Business had been picking up lately. That might be one of the reasons he now asked Kathy for her hand. They would continue to live in Brian's cabana. There he found comfort, he felt his new bride would be comforted there also.

Shortly after the wedding and honeymoon Brian was awakened at night.

Again it sounded like howling wind. He arose carefully as not to awaken Kathy. After checking around to see if any of the windows or doors were open, Brian was returning to bed. He happened to notice the "mirror" vibrating. He looked closely at the "mirror". The sky blue eyes had been replaced by the words "You are mine now" and a image of him, Kathy and a small child. All were smiling.
