How do i dye my hair bright red?

i have naturally red hair, and ive just tried to dye it bright red, i used that xxx live one, however, it has come out a dark red, like hayley williams, in the 'pressure' video
what is the best way to get like a fire engline red?

xxx live aren't very good, try and get some manic panic or special effects

Bleach it once (start at the ends so it ends up even) and then dye it red over the top
